Eine Arbeitsbibliographie

Zusammengestellt von Hans J. Wulff

In die folgende Liste sind Literaturhinweise von Christine Noll Brinckmann, Jens Eder, Klemens Hippel, Stefan Jenzowsky, Niels Martens und Ludger Kaczmarek eingegangen.

Die Liste verzeichnet vor allem Arbeiten, die der Frage der empathischen Prozesse während der Film- und Fernsehrezeption nachgehen. Allgemeine Arbeiten sind nur dann verzeichnet, wenn sie Überblickscharakter haben und Aufschluß über die nicht-filmwissenschaftlichen Diskussionen zur Empathie geben.

Auf ein Verzeichnis der einfühlungsästhetischen Arbeiten in der Nachfolge Lipps‘ und Worringers habe ich verzichtet - dieser Kreis von Arbeiten soll an anderer Stelle dokumentiert werden.

Alle Fehler und Auslassungen sind durch mich verschuldet. Ich bitte alle Leser, mich auf Fehler und weitere Arbeiten hinzuweisen und die vorliegenden Angaben zu ergänzen.

•                   Nach einem pretest zur Auswahl wurden über 70jährigen Versuchspersonen Filme vorgeführt, in denen ältere Menschen entweder als glücklich und sozial integriert oder aber als unglücklich und sozial isoliert dargestellt wurden; dann wurden ihre Beurteilungen erhoben. Differenziert wurde dabei vor allem danach, ob die Befragten eher allein oder eher sozial integriert waren.

•                   Vor dem Hintergrund der Excitation‑Transfer Hypothese wird der Einfluß von Filmausgang und empathischem Streß auf die postrezeptive Befindlichkeit sowie auf die Filmbewertung experimentell untersucht. (...) Die Ergebnisse zeigen, daß der Filmausgang in der Tat einen entscheidenden Einfluß auf die Stimmung der Vpn hat und die Kombination aus Filmausgang und empathischem Streß vor allem deren emotionale Gereiztheit beeinflußt. Die Bewertung des verwendeten Filmausschnitts korrelierte demgegenüber positiv mit dem während der Rezeption empfundenen empathischen Streß. Dieses Auseinanderfallen der Bedingungen für die Befindlichkeit einerseits und die Bewertung andererseits verdeutlicht die Möglichkeiten, aber auch die Grenzen der Excitation‑Transfer Hypothese.
